In 2013, it was chosen by TripAdvisor as world’s best beach travel destination. Lampedusa is the largest island of the Italian Pelagie Islands in the Mediterranean Sea. [6] Ironically, you will not find an overwhelming number of rabbit population on this island as what the name implies. Instead, what you will discover is a large number of loggerhead sea turtles and other flora and fauna wandering the rocky grottos. The island is absolutely fascinating!
